Welcome ...

We are the Kew Little Car Company.

If you are an investor, supplier or collaborator, join us as we design, develop and manufacture a new range of premium L6e and L7e quadricycles.
These will retail at £15,000 for the L7e, with the L6e to follow at £13,000.

We all face problems with cars in our cities ...

Parking, traffic jams - and now, finding an EV charger.

The reality is, our grid can't support enough roadside chargers for the growing number of electric vehicles, and most cars are still too large and heavy for urban use – and getting fatter.

Most importantly, we all want our cities to become cleaner, more efficient, more equitable places for people to live.

The Kew Little Car Company has the solution ...

To do this, we are seeking a significant investment for the 28 months to Start of Production. In this initial stage of the venture, our funding plan allows for two prototype build phases, testing, all body and chassis tooling, marketing, PR, regulatory liaison, and build of sixty pre-production and first production vehicles.

Thereafter, we will need additional funding to manage the total overheads for the first 3 years of production, even as we scale up to 1,500 cars sold annually.

These sales will allow us to break even in Year 3 to 4, and we expect clear profit from Year 5.

The Kew Little Car Company has partnered The University of Bath for the past 2 years, each time with 6 students from the School of Engineering undertaking a team project as part of their undergraduate studies.

Last year the School of Management provided an additional project for 6 students, working on the financial modelling of the business case for the Kew little car.

This proved that both the sale of product (ownership) and leasing the cars have the potential to generate significant revenue, with the leasing model taking slightly longer to become profitable but with greater earnings overall.

This year the University of Bath School of Engineering has requested a continuation of the partnership – including some additional, more focused projects.
